A Makeover at home…A Pedicure

Normally when I have a date or a special occasion to attend a day before I do a complete makeover at home not to mention a total clean up for my whole body trying out a new fresh look to have the best look.
Starting from a pedicure I first pour a relaxing liquid gel (or can use a shampoo) in to a basin with half full of warm (as much as you can put your feet inside) water. After making the bubbles come up I put my feet into the water basin and cover them with the bubbles.
Making sure my feet are wet and relaxed, after about 5-10 minutes using a foot file I rub my ankles till the small crack lines are disappeared if there are any. And then with a pumice stone (these are available in the market with one side of the tool having a brush and the other side having the stone), I clean my toe nails (using the brush) and feet (using the stone) in round shapes. After I get satisfied assuring my feet are now cleaned well (had removed the dead skin) I take my feet out of the basin and wash them again with warm water. Then I put on a foot scrub in to both feet and after leaving it to dry for 5 minutes I message in round shapes from finger tips and rinse it off.
Then using my towel (I recommend to use a small towel as a face towel to use separately for cleaning feet) I clean my feet and apply my soothing foot cream (I recommend a Icy foot cream), which I love out of all my creams as it makes my feet very cool and relaxed.
Finally I come to the part which I love most. Taking the base coat out of my nail polish stock I apply on all my toe nails. Then choosing my favorite nail polish (perhaps to match with the dress I am going to wear the following day?) I apply it evenly on top of the base coat. Keeping it 3-5 minutes to dry it completely I use the top coat for a fashionable complete finish!
Let’s discuss about a clean-up, facial tips about in upcoming articles.
