A Makeover at home… Hair Care

Continuing with trying to have a new look at home before a date/special occasion, this article will describe few tips/ways to do a simple hair treatment at home which of course can be also used for regular days.
My hair falls to the category of silky and somebody may call it as a straight hair. It gets dirty often due to the dust as I travel day to day by public transport to a crowded area where people move around a lot. Therefore I normally wash my hair three times a week. But remember it was said by the professional hair dressers that only to shampoo your hair after 48 hours from the last time unless the using shampoo is recommended by a professional as a daily used shampoo. However I recommend not shampooing your hair before 48 hours from the time last washed.
But I do wash my hair if a major hair crisis occurs but then I use only the conditioner.
After applying the shampoo, don’t rinse off immediately. Instead message the scalp from the finger tips in round shapes for 3 minutes (this will depend on the hair condition and the using shampoo quality), but never scratch from nails. And then rinse with cool to hot water. But remember, never to use too hot water.
·         Tip: if your hair is colored, then use a color protection shampoo and a conditioner for the best results!
My hair is slightly colored with darkest brown and without using a color protection shampoo the color got invisible in few days.
Once in a week it is better if you could apply a hair mask as a special treatment. (Please chose a good hair mask) apply the mask to wet hair. Comb it from the root of the hair to the tips and leave it for 5 minutes. Then rinse off thoroughly.
As the next step apply a good suitable conditioner (for best use I recommend to use the conditioner from same brand as the shampoo you used) to wet hair again from root to the tips of hair but not to the scalp after shampooing and leave it for few minutes. Then rinse it off fully.
·         Tip: Never comb wet hair as it’s fragile.
As my final step I use my hair dryer to dry my hair, comb it using a round brush (differs with the type of hair) and apply a leave-in spray for a stylish finish!
·         Tip: Round brushes are good for  a hair with a great volume.
